The origin of the Ex Deposito Locomotive goes back to the end of the '800 and is connected to the constuction of the Palermo- Corleone railway, whose Palermo- Villafrati line has been activated in 1886, few days after the Stazione Centrale inauguration.
Nothing remains of the building for passengers and the same railway, which has been quitted when road haulage started. Suggestive testimony of industrial archeology, completely renovated since its abandoning in 2004, the Deposito consists of a principal pavillon, and a small service building attached to the first one. The internal structure of the main building has got a particular system of pillars and capitals. The internal area is dominated by an original texture of iron trusses.
